Is the signage application free? if so, how do I get it?

Hello Everyone, For what i read is that infojection could be the real solution for me, but i have to say that it is really hard to get this working, i also whant to get it work under ubuntu, is there someone who can help me with this please, and i would contribute to make an complete NOOB guide when i fineshed the installation. I hope someone can help me! Dave
